Mary Gaitskill (innate 1954) made her debut within 1988 by having a short story collection "Bad Behaviour". Her fiction is heavy according to emotions & characterization & her subject matter deals by having numbers of taboo cases like prostitution, addiction, and sado-masochism. A film "Secretary" released on Lions Gate Films is based on the short story of hers.
